Carbon Blocker™, is a Patent Pending fly ash treatment process that conditions fly ash so that desired levels of air entrainment can be achieved in concrete products applications. Carbon Blocker works across a broad range of fly ashes even with elevated levels of carbon.
FlyAshDirect is pleased to announce that Carbon Blocker treated fly ash from the Clifty Creek Power Plant and the Avon Lake Generating Station has been approved by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). Typically, fly ash in excess of 3% Loss on Ignition (LOI) cannot be used on ODOT projects. Fly ash from these plants can now be used at elevated carbon levels when treated with Carbon Blocker.
